How two ships collided with each other at sea and 11 people died

While we understand how to have an accident on land, it is difficult to understand how two ships can have an accident at sea. It was stated that at least 11 people died and more than 60 people, including 26 children, were missing as a result of the accident of two ships off the coast of Southern Italy.

A German aid rescue ship saved the lives of 51 people in one of the two shipwrecks. It is estimated that they are immigrants. How do two ships collide with each other at sea? Someone needs to find an answer to this. Could it be because of the ship owners’ rivalry with each other? For example, could it be that two rival companies engaged in human smuggling had a duel and sank the other one?

Or the second possibility that comes to mind is; Can we say that the ships did not have a captain? The ships were driving themselves?

If an event cannot be explained logically, something else is at play and the government is most likely on one side. Maybe the mafia leaders in Italy gave up drugs and turned to human trafficking. We don’t know if it was because it was less risky.

But at the end of the day, it happened to 21 people and they lost their lives. Maybe they came for a better life, but their endings were much worse than they expected.
