Before coming to power, the Labour Party had promised: They would not increase taxes. But they did not keep their word and now they are preparing to put a new tax increase in the budget. There is no point in telling Starmer and his ministers that they made a promise.

They probably do not even remember the promises they made. They talked and promised, but only to come to power. They did not actually know the state of the country. They were against the Conservative Party because they had no other choice to come to power.

Now they started to serve the news to the media. ‘There will be a tax increase, but it will not be as high as expected.’

Let us ask these different questions.

So will living conditions be better?
Will energy prices fall?
Will wages be increased?
Will Starmer and his ministers be able to live on their own salaries without receiving donations?
Will they send their children to private schools where they have introduced VAT and pay the fees of these schools from their own salaries or will they pay donors?
There are thousands of businesses that have closed; will they ensure that these businesses reopen?
Will they reduce unemployment?
