The government’s economic package continues to receive reactions from all segments of society. Everyone from workers to employers is worried, but farmers will suffer the most. The common decision among farmers is that ‘the last budget will also result in the disposal of the last agricultural lands and farmers will stop producing. Farmers are preparing to protest the government, especially because of the inheritance tax.
Prime Ministers Starmer and Reeves do not know anything about the world. Therefore, it was impossible for them to know about the country.
The agricultural sector in this country suffered a great blow after Brexit because the number of people working in the fields decreased and farmers could not find people to employ. But this last budget will directly affect production. In fact, farmers keep saying that farmers will not be able to produce if the budget is not withdrawn.
Let us say something worse: If this budget goes into effect, food prices will skyrocket in 2 or 3 years. Because as domestic production stops, imports will increase and customs quotas applied to food coming from abroad will directly reflect on prices. This is a 100% certainty.
This budget must be taken back. In its current state, it will not create peace but more trouble for the country.
