Did PM Starmer know about Chancellor Reeves’ budget? Or rather, let’s ask the question this way: Did Starmer have the economic knowledge to understand what was in the budget? Or did Chancellor Reeves put a file in front of him and he had to approve it?
Starmer’s economic knowledge is zero. There is no way he could be more than the average person. He is someone who is only focused on the salary he will receive from the state and has linked the economy to the increasing hourly wage. They gave him the job because they couldn’t find a good person in the Labour Party. After 14 years of bad governance by the Conservatives, whoever was at the head of the Labour Party would have won, and Starmer’s party won because of this. This success is not his success at all.
Starmer doesn’t know about the economy. He doesn’t know about National Insurance. He doesn’t know about the farmers’ situation, he doesn’t understand the tradesmen’s situation. He only understood the salary he would receive at the end of the month, and unfortunately now this person is running a party that calls itself revolutionary.
The feet have become the head, the heads are the feet.
