Trump’s victory in the presidential election has brought the Ukraine-Russia war back to the agenda. Trump had previously said that he was against this war and that he would stop it by meeting with Putin. Trump’s statement that he would stop this war is a positive step for the world.
The Russia-Ukraine war did not benefit anyone; it only drained the resources of the countries. Neither Russia nor Ukraine won, but both the American people and the West lost.
If Trump can establish peace between the two countries, which is very likely the case, Europe will be relieved. The fact that taxes were constantly going to Ukraine to support it was helping both Ukraine and those who were fed by the war to continue the war. Both Ukrainian President Zelensky and Putin dominated their people by feeding off this dirty war. Especially someone like Zelensky, who has no talent or characteristics, was able to remain in power continuously thanks to the war.
Trump’s arrival is also a very important step for Americans. Their taxes will no longer go to unnecessary wars. While they live on the poverty line, the administrators will not be able to start arbitrary wars in many parts of the world with their money.
So Trump’s arrival could be a new beginning for both America and the West.
