adminUS presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will debate in a critical campaign test. While it is wondered who will win at the end of the debate that will start at 2pm US time today, neither leader seems to have won yet in the polls.
Kamala Harris has both Trump’s cons and pros. Let’s start with Kamala Harris’ pros and cons first.
1- Kamala Harris is a partner in all of President Biden’s sins. She may say she will do better, but it will not be convincing because people will ask: Why didn’t you do it when you were vice president?
2- Kamala Harris targets and criticizes Trump in all of her speeches. Americans expect her to criticize Trump, not to criticize him, but to provide projects that will provide economic relief.
3- Kamala Harris constantly talks about democracy and freedom, but Americans have no such concern. Democracy and freedom are not something that will fill their stomachs anyway. Democracy is just a detail for people who don’t have enough to eat.
As for Trump’s pros and cons.
1- He is a very successful president economically in his first presidential experience. People still miss the economic days of his time. Unemployment decreased, people’s income increased, even if only partially.
2- The US turned inward, did not act as a gendarmerie by causing chaos in the world, and American soldiers did not die in vain.
3- Americans’ taxes did not go to ridiculous countries and the wars they started, but remained within the US.
4- Trump is a more authoritarian leader. His belief in democracy is weak. He tries to run the country as he wants. Law and rules are not important to him. He has a dirty past behind him.
If you ask who has the advantage, let’s say: Trump seems to have the advantage.
