If the government has started taking action, we should be afraid

The World Health Organization made a statement warning all countries about the virus that causes Mpox disease and was previously known as monkeypox. The virus, which was first discovered in the late 1950s, was last detected in Africa.

If governments are making statements saying they are trying to prevent the virus, should we be afraid?

After the warnings about Mpox, our UK government also acted early and started work to prevent the virus. The World Health Organization’s early warning seems to have worked, but we are still worried. Because we know about Corona. Whenever governments have tried to prevent something, they have always made that problem a much bigger problem. The government trying to prevent Coronavirus did not work and 67 thousand people lost their lives. The government could not prevent people from dying, but it revived a few companies with the millions of pounds it paid for Corona vaccines, PPE and other products.

s MPOX starting to scare people?
Is the threat of a new virus upon us or is it unnecessary panic?

That’s why we look at the Starmer government’s statements “We have started the work. We are taking all our precautions regarding the virus” with both skepticism and anxiety.
