Will a 20 percent salary increase drag the country into the abyss?

According to recent news, Junior doctors offered a 22% pay increase in a deal to end strike action. It’s probably a rate the government is likely to accept.

One of the biggest problems in the UK right now is the number of doctors. We are in a position to import doctors and the government now has to agree on a middle ground. It is obvious that persistence does not solve any problem. New problems are constantly added to unsolved problems, and growing problems make the solution difficult.

The first question the government needs to solve is the salaries of assistant doctors and nurses. Because this is an element that also affects other sectors. In a country where health problems have not been corrected, there is no possibility of other sectors being good either.

The government does not ask us, but if it did, we could tell them that they should agree to a 20 percent salary increase. At least by removing the threat of this strike they will have taken the first step in fixing the NHS
