4 Rich British families sentenced to modern slavery

A Swiss court sentenced four members of England’s richest family to prison terms ranging from four to four and a half years on the grounds that they owned modern slaves. According to the news on BBC, Prakash and Kamal Hinduja, as well as their son Ajay and his wife Namrata, were also found guilty of usury and illegal employment.

One meaning of illegal employment is this: Exploiting people and using them for one’s own personal gain. Or making a fortune by using people. To gain unfair advantage. Putting people in debt by giving them money and then seizing the wealth of the people they indebted to.

A Turkish proverb says exactly like this: Great wealth does not exist without sin.
