The latest Channel 4 Dispatches investigation has revealed that the private properties of the monarch and the heir to the throne are worth millions of pounds.

The real question is: why do the middle class people of this country support a family worth billions of pounds with their taxes? Why do we support such a wealthy family with millions of pounds? Why do we give this money to the royal family when we don’t give it to the NHS or the poor?
They may be billionaires but it’s not fair for them to make millions without doing anything, and secondly, since they have millions, the state must stop supporting this family from the people’s taxes.
The royal family’s assets have once again come under discussion after the latest economic package. If the royal family loves their country so much, they should say that they ‘don’t want the money that comes to them from the people’s taxes’. If they want to show that we live in a fair country, they should stop receiving aid from the state.
