Labour members must ask themselves. Are those who donate to the Labour Party donating to this party or to Starmer’s family?
They must say that what Starmer did was wrong and that it belittled the party. They must say that the party is a source of income for a president. They must shout loudly that donations to the party are for all Labour members and cannot be used for personal needs.
A prime minister cannot take £20,000 for his own son. He cannot beg for a holiday from his party donors. He cannot beg for a holiday from his donors.
Labour members must stand up for their own dignity and learn to hold Starmer to account. It is not their job to applaud the wrongdoing, it is their job to criticise the prime minister and prevent him from making the same mistakes again.
Let us be clear. Someone who takes £20,000 from his party donors to protect your family will never change the country. He will only make his own circumstances better,
