1-We are in a ridiculously stupid debate again. Did Chancellor Reeves work at the Bank of England or not? If so, how long did he work? Let’s say Reeves never worked at the Bank of England, what will that change? Let’s say Reeves lied or exaggerated his past, is there any politician who doesn’t lie? Let’s crucify them all together.
2- BBC says Reeves‘ CV says he exaggerated his time at the Bank of England. In other words, even if Reeves worked for 3 days, that would mean he worked at the Bank of England. It’s hard to understand why this stupid debate has been going on for so long. What matters is what she does today: the state of the economy, growth rates and investments, reducing unemployment and preventing businesses from closing down.
3- The world is full of names who graduated from good schools and good banks but then shit into the world. This is also related to the nonsense of good schools, institutions and banks. Will the Chancellor be a good economist if he worked at the Bank of England for 10 years? Or will someone who has never worked at the Bank of England but knows the economy very well be unsuccessful?
