The great contradiction of society towards LGBT members

1 min read

According to a survey published in The Guardian, dozens of school librarians in the UK have been asked to remove LGBTQ+ books. According to the survey, the Censorship Index found that 53% of librarians surveyed said they had been asked to remove books, and in more than half of these cases, the books had been removed from the shelves.

Especially in the West, criticisms against LGBT members are considered as bigotry and backwardness. This helps people pretend to support LGBT.

The situation is this. Many people respect LGBTQ people and want them to be able to freely express their identities, but they are worried that their own children will one day change gender.

Even if people respect LGBT, they don’t want their children to change gender

In fact, many people do not see gender change as a good thing, but because of the intellectual pressure that is put in place, people have to pretend that they do. They are afraid of being criticized for being ‘anti-LGBT’. Because being anti-LGBT is starting to come to the point of being against a religion. People do not want their children to be gay or lesbian, but they say that they respect the existence of LGBT. They think that if they say otherwise, they will be accused of being racist, old-fashioned, unconventional, bigoted, and they are a bit like that today.
